Nose Bleeds
*Nasal Saline spray: 2 sprays to each nostril 4 times a day.
– Ocean Spray is one brand available. Generic is fine.
*AYR Gel: Apply to the inside of both nostrils every night before bed.
*Humidifier in bedroom; please change the water daily.
*If a nose bleed does not stop after 5 minutes of pressure, please use Afrin nasal spray (or generic). One spray to the bleeding nostril, then reapply pressure.
– Please do not use Afrin more than 3 days in a row.
